Första linjen is a dedicated area within the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup). Our area includes our Första Linjen clinics, the En väg in clinic, as well as the Digital Treatment clinic and the Research clinic.

At the Första linjen clinic in Malmö, seven social workers, seven psychologists, and one secretary work. There is also a chief physician in the area. Första Linjen Malmö is connected to Första Linjen Trelleborg, and we have a close collaboration and a shared unit manager. Our mission is to offer support and treatment to children and adolescents aged 6–18 years and their guardians for persistent mental health issues and mild to moderate psychiatric conditions. Our interventions are provided in individual treatment or as group therapy, and we offer both in-person and digital treatments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome a social worker colleague for a permanent position at our Första Linjen clinic in Malmö!

We work from a fundamental family perspective where both the child and the guardians are an important part of the treatment. Each employee works independently with assessments and shorter treatments of children and young people. The clinic offers a wide range of group therapies, primarily focusing on psychoeducation and strategies to manage the issues that brought them to us.

As an employee, in addition to your individual treatments, you will also help lead some of our group interventions. The clinic also offers short-term family therapy and several different digital treatment options. We can offer an interesting, varied, and independent job. We work in a team-based manner where different professional categories contribute their specific knowledge. In your role as a social worker with us, you will contribute knowledge about psychosocial factors that affect children's living conditions and their health.

You will receive continuous supervision from licensed supervisors with a focus on CBT or family therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a degree in social work. If you belong to a licensed professional group, proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is required. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. Basic IT and systems knowledge is also a requirement for the position. If you are a licensed health and medical care social worker, this is a plus, as well as having basic psychotherapy training level 1 in CBT or family therapy.

We view it positively if you have previous experience in child psychiatric treatment work. You also have good collaboration and prioritization skills, as well as the capacity to manage several ongoing tasks simultaneously. Our clinic in Malmö is one of our largest Första Linjen clinics with a well-functioning and social team, and we are therefore keen to find the right person for the position and place great importance on personal suitability.
